Telegraphenamt

Design | History | Networking

The former telegraph office was constructed in 1910 and opened in 1916 as Germany’s most expensive post office building with state-of-the art technology. Today, Berlin’s former communication hub is a hotel with 97 rooms and suites, event areas, a restaurant and a bar.

The interior design is influenced by a combination of 1920s Berlin, the history of the building and the city’s current atmosphere. In the kitchen of the hotel’s ROOT restaurant, the focus is on pure, high-quality products where guests can sample dishes from all over the world, such as sushi specialties.

COR Berlin supported the Telegraphenamt with the PR for its opening and was in charge of arranging on-site individual press appointments and interviews with the hotel’s owner.
